Repeat ‘moses’ Opera

A second performance of Rossini’s opera-pageant “Moses” will be presented at the Hippodrome tonight by the Chicago Opera Company. This historical opera was heard for the first time since 1860 in this country last Saturday and was enthusiastically received.

The Italian Jew, Guiseppe Finzi, was active in the fight for the liberation of Italy, fighting behind the barricades at Milan in 1848, later in the army of Charles Albert where he organized a regiment of bersaglieri and with Garibaldi in the freeing of southern Italy.

Joseph Engel, the noted Hungarian sculptor, was destined for ###bbinate when he deserted the ### to take up wood-carving.
