An appeal to Germans in America to declare the Friends of the New Germany and other Nazi organizations in the United States un-German and un-American was issued here today by the League of Free Germans.

The appeal, embodied in a pamphlet, points out that the Nazi movement in America is conducted by Germans who accuse each other of dishonesty. The self-styled German-American patriots have brought shame to the German-American element in the United States, the League charges.

“Though they have attained only 7,000 members, these self-styled ‘leaders’ attempt to create the impression that they represent German-American opinion,” the appeal declares, urging the German citizens of America to raise their voice “against these misleaders and against the doctrines of violence, race hatred, un-Americanism and terror.”
