The authorities today prohibited the holding of Jewish secular meetings in synagogues throughout Latvia, as a result of the clashes which occurred recently at such meetings between Zionist Laborites and Zionist Revisionists.

The order was issued with the object of preventing any possible disturbances within Jewish ranks, since there are no other places for Jewish public meetings but synagogues.
