What the world needs today is the spirit of Maimonides harmonizing faith with reason and appreciating other faiths, Rabbi B. Leon Hurwitz of Brooklyn, N. Y., said last night in an address at the installation dinner in honor of Rev. John C. Walker at the Second Congregational Church here. Outstanding churchmen of the state and country participated.
Rabbi Hurwitz spoke as the president of the Brooklyn Inter-Faith Clergy and chairman of the Brooklyn section of the World Fellowship of Faiths.
