Ruth Sorel-Abramovitch and George Groke, dancers, arrived in New York on the Champlain yesterday for a series of performances at the Majestic Theatre, beginning Sunday night, under the auspices of S. Hurok. Before the advent of the Hitler regime, the dancers were among the most popular in Germany, having been featured at the Municipal Opera.
