Lodz Wedding Rites Disrupted by Death

Tragedy marked the wedding today of a young couple who intended to proceed to Palestine immediately after the ceremony.

While the couple, Yechiel Bokczor and Sarah Winter, were waiting for the ceremony to begin, the ceiling suddenly collapsed, killing a cousin of the bride and injuring twelve others. Among the injured was the bride, who was seriously hurt. The groom and the rabbi escaped with slight injuries.
