Over $1,000 was raised by the Sisterhood of Temple Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun in a campaign to help the congregation keep up its religious and cultural program for this year.
Representatives of the Southern Wisconsin council of B’nai B’rith will join Sunday in a celebration of the 800th birthday of Maimonides, with a program at the Hillel Foundation in Madison. Sessions will be held in the afternoon and evening.
With $15,000 as the goal it is seeking to raise, the Jewish National Fund here is organizing a bazaar to be held the nights of May 11 and 12 at the Milwaukee Auditorium.
