Charles Weinfeld, prominent attorney, today was at the helm of the 1935 campaign for the Jewish education fund of the Jewish Charities of Chicago. He has long been active in the affairs of K.A.M. Temple, this city’s oldest Jewish congregation. The goal has been set at $100,000.

Mr. Weinfeld, a partner in the law firm of Schuyler, Weinfeld and Hennessy, was chairman of the building committee which brought about the construction of the congregation’s present edifice on Drexel boulevard. His selection as chairman of the education drive was announced by Frank L. Sulzberger, president of the Jewish Charities.

An executive committee of 150 will assist in the effort to raise the $100,000. Mr. Weinfeld is also vice-president of the community council of the Jewish Charities.
