Rites for Dalidansky, Retired Journalist

Funeral services were held Friday for I. Leon Dalidansky, retired Jewish journalist and Zionist Revisionist, who died Wednesday of an apoplectic stroke at Montefiore Hospital, Bronx. Burial was at Mount Judah Cemetery, Brooklyn.

Dalidansky, who was 68 years old at his death, was London correspondent and later special writer for the Jewish Daily News. In Wilno, Poland, where he was born, Dalidansky had been a contributor to a number of European publications including Hamagid, Haavi and Dem Yud. He was the founder of Der Yiddisher Express in Leeds, England.

Coming to the United States in 1906 he worked for the Jewish Daily News and retired in 1928 when the newspaper was merged with the Jewish Morning Journal. Dalidansky is survived by his widow, Mary; a daughter, Cecilia Dalidansky, and a son, Ezra, all living in Pleasantville.
