The offices of the Danziger Echo, the only German-Jewish newspaper in Danzig, were raided today by the police, who confiscated an edition of the paper which carried criticism of the Nazis.
The criticism was directed against the Nazi agitators who are spreading propaganda that the Jews are to be blamed for the devaluation of the Danzig currency.
The Federation of the Representatives of Polish Industry in Danzig called on the Polish Commissioner-General, Dr. Papee, to make representations to the Danzig Senate on the grounds that the anti-Jewish boycott in Danzig is being continued.
The Federation emphasizes that large numbers of Polish subjects are affected by the anti-Jewish boycott in Danzig and that this is contrary to the Polish-Danzig agreement which guarantees the unhampered economic activity of all Polish inhabitants, irrespective of their race and religion.
