citizens. Special pamphlets justifying Germany’s persecution of the Jews were placed in the office of the German department and freely distributed to the students, Prof. Bergel states. When he tried to counteract this anti-Jewish propaganda, the professor was ordered dropped.

The New Jersey Legislature recently passed a bill prohibiting Nazi propaganda in the State. A hearing will be held next Tuesday to go into the charges made by Prof. Bergel.
