The congregation of B’nai Scholaum, known widely as the Ninth Street Temple, celebrated the completion of its forty-ninth year of existence at a special anniversary service Friday evening.
Its annual dinner and dance will be held tonight (Sunday) at the Hotel Towers, Brooklyn.
The Friday evening service included a three-fold program, consisting of a memorial dedication, the celebration of the seventieth birthday of Beck Madow, vice-president, and the eightieth birthday of Mrs. Jennie Wundoehl, one of the first confirm ants of the temple, and the induction of a group of new members.
