The Jews in Germany will face either complete expulsion from the Reich or pogroms if the present increased anti-Jewish propaganda continues.
This is the opinion expressed today in the Neue Zuericher Zeitung, influential Swiss newspaper, in an article from its Berlin correspondent.
Describing the new wave of anti-Semitic fervor in Germany the correspondent comes to the conclusion that the future for German Jews is much darker than even its gloomy present.
“If the type of enlightenment and propaganda which is now being conducted against the Jews in Germany continues then the Reich will head directly either for Jewish pogroms or for the expulsion of the Jews along the same lines as in Spain during the fifteenth century,” the correspondent warned.
