The restrictions for Jewish dentists in Germany, from which the war veterans were exempt, will now be applied even to Jews who fought in the world war, it is announced today in the official Reichsgazette.
The announcement states that every dentist who wishes to work in the panel system will henceforth have to prove his “Aryan” origin and also that his wife is an “Aryan”. No exceptions will be made even of war veterans.
The announcement adds that Jewish war veterans who were permitted to practice dentistry in the panel system prior to February, will still be able to continue their practice there.

The feelings of German Jewry after two-and-a-half years of Nazi rule are described in an article in the Central-Verein Zeitung, the organ of the non-Zionists in Germany.
“We see flowers and processions and the banners which we are not allowed to fly, and we have to stand aside,” the article written by the editor of the paper says. “We cannot join in the rejoicing of the German people. We who have borne the grief of this people as our own grief. But we feel all the closer together in that room that is allowed to us. This is our world now, this small German Jewry, these few people oppressed by a load of anxieties; and yet we shall not let this load crush us to the ground, or doubts rob us of our courage.”
