A check for $10,000 from the Rosenwald Family Association was acknowledged today by the University of Chicago.
Accompanying the check was a letter to Robert M. Hutchins, president, endorsing him and the university’s stand on “academic freedom.” A State committee is to investigate charges of radicalism.
