The Flower Day for the Organized Pioneers in Palestine was to be launched Saturday evening and continue all day Sunday throughout the city.

Hundreds of volunteers from many Zionist organizations will issue forth with boxes and flowers for the benefit of the thousands of National Pioneers in Palestine.

The proceeds of this particular Flower Day will go for a sick benefit fund (Kupath Cholim).

At the same time a torchlight parade in observance of Lag B’Omer and in preparation for the Jewish National Fund’s Palestine Flower Day was to start Saturday night at Union Square and proceed to East Broadway, with a rally scheduled at Rutgers Square.
