Harry A. Stern, president of the Ex-Patients’ Tubercular Home here, called attention today to the foundation of the institution, twenty-five years ago this spring.

“There are other such institutions in the country,” he said “but they did not come into existence until after the Ex-Patients’ Tubercular Home proved the wisdom of its policy.

The Denver asylum bridges the vital time in the life of the convalescent when, though discharged as cured from tubercular institutions, he is still too weak to resume his place in society.
