Vladimir Jabotinsky, leader of the World Union of Zionist Revisionists, today in a long-distance telephone conversation from Wilno, Poland, denied to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that there was any attempt to assassinate him in Kaunas, Lithuania, when he lectured there this week.

Mr. Jabotinsky stated that one stone was thrown at his automobile when he left the theatre after the lecture. The driver of the car was slightly injured.

“I was absolutely untouched and I am unaware who threw the stone,” Mr. Jabotinsky declared.

According to a report in the Kaunas press today, three were arrested as a result of the incident.
