Similarly, uneasiness was felt today in Jewish circles here in connection with the views expressed by Vaida-Voevod yesterday in an interview given to representatives of the foreign press in Bucharest, on the functions of his newly-formed party, which will be known as the “Rumanian Front.”

Although Vaida-Voevod in his interview declared that he is against racial prejudice, he nevertheless emphasized that the Jews and other racial minorities in Rumania are controlling the best positions in commerce in the country and that the aim of his party is to push the Jews out of their economic existence “in order to achieve equilibrium for Rumanians.”
