A call to American Jewry to combat anti-Semitism in America and to help the Jews of various European countries to fight for their rights, will be sounded here Sunday by Judge William M. Lewis, Grand Master of the Order Brith Sholom, at the opening session of the thirtieth annual convention of the Order.

James G. McDonald, the League of Nations High Commissioner for German refugees, will address the afternoon session of the convention, which will take place at Convention Hall here. The convention will last three days.

The Order Brith Sholom has instituted a number of new lodges since its last convention a year ago. The average age of the members in these lodges is thirty years.
