Much interest was displayed by the general public here today in the first international convention of Jewish war veterans which opened here today.
The opening session was devoted to an impressive address by Edmond Flegg, noted French author, and to greetings from representatives of Jewish war veteran groups in different countries.
Delegations from twelve countries, including the United States, are participating in the convention. Among the delegations is also one of German-Jewish war veterans.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
