Traffic Halts As Jewish Vets Parade on the Champs Elysee

Led by the American and British Jewish War Veterans in full uniform, an impressive parade of Jewish veterans ###m twelve different countries was ###d today in Paris, in connection ###th the first World Convention of ###ish War Veterans which opened ### yesterday.

Traffic was halted during the pro###sion, which attracted wide at###ion. The marchers, wearing ###r national uniforms and with the flags of the countries from which they come, paraded down the Champs Elysee, the most beautiful street in Paris, to the Cenotaph, to lay wreaths on the war memorial.

The French Minister of War and the Military Governor of Paris were present at the ceremony of unveiling a monument to the Jewish heroes who fell in the war. The French President was represented at the ceremony by his aide-de-camp.
