Charges that Rear Admiral Yates Sterling, Jr., commanding the Brooklyn Navy Yard, “appeared at Madison Square Garden with the Ambassador from Germany and proceeded to make a rather rousing speech calling upon all Germans to restate their German nationalism” would be investigated under a resolution introduced into the House by Representative Byron N. Scott, California.
