An attempt to stab Prof. Zilinski, well known anti-Semitic leader, was made today by David Kasper, a Jewish medical student at the Kaunas University.

When arrested, Kasper declared that he raised a knife against the anti-Semitic professor because he was driven to desperation by the anti-Jewish propaganda he conducted. Acquittal of the student is expected on the ground of insanity.

The Union of the Jewish People’s Banks started today the publication of a weekly in the Lithuanian language, in order to combat the anti-Semitic slanders published in the Lithuanian press.
