The Jewish Community of Salonica today submitted a memorandum to the Greek government asking for greater facilities for the emigration of Jews from Greece to Palestine. A fifty per cent reduction in railway fares for prospective emigrants is among the concessions requested.

In view of the fact that the present Cabinet is friendly towards the Jews, it is expected that the government will grant the requests outlined in the memorandum.

Twelve Nazi journalists from Germany, headed by an official of the German Ministry of Propaganda, arrived in Athens allegedly to study Greek archaeology.
