Jewish Architects Hit by New Nazi Edict

What is virtually a death sentence was passed today upon all Jewish architects in Germany by an order issued by the Ministry of Fine Arts, prohibiting Jewish architects from becoming members of the Chamber of Fine Arts.

“Only trustworthy candidates may enjoy membership in the Chamber. ‘Non-Aryans’ are not to become members,” the order states.

At the same time the order provides that all architects of Germany must be members of the Chamber of Fine Arts in order to be recognized as architects.
