Members of the Nazi party heard saying in public that “the Jews also belong to the white race,” will be put on trial as untrustworthy elements, the Voelkischer Beobachter, chief organ of the Nazi party, warns today.
“The swastika,” the paper writes, “is the symbol representing our fight with the Jews.”
The Nazi paper harangues at length against those Germans who do not approve of the anti-Jewish persecutions. “To those who claim that there are also decent Jews in existence in Germany, we say that our party is not concerned with decency or indecency of the Jew but against his damaging influence on the life of the German people,” the paper writes.
In warning the Nazi members against saying that the Jews belong to the white race, the Voelkischer Beobachter declares that such an allegation is tantamount to admitting that the Jews are blood relations of the “Aryans.”
Prof. Martin Wolff, Internationally known law authority and most popular professor at the Berlin University, was dismissed from his post today because of his Jewish descent. Only one Jewish lecturer, Prof. Rabel, is now left in the Berlin University.
