Colonel E. C. O. Henriques, officer commanding the 1st Manchester Cadet Battalion, Jewish Lads’ Brigade, has been awarded the King’s silver jubilee medal, it was learned today. Colonel Henriques, who is now completing thirty-five years of service, commanded the battalion since its formation.
