Protection for Danzig Jewry was demanded today in a telegram sent in behalf of Polish Jewry to the League of Nations Council now meeting in Geneva.
The telegram was signed by Rabbi Dr. Schor, Dr. Joshua Gotlieb, Deputy Dr. Hartglass and Rosmarin, and A. Mazur, Jewish Community leader.
Yesterday a delegation from the German Refugee Committee in Poland had an interview at the Foreign Office about the anti-Jewish acts of the Nazis in Danzig, and they were promised assistance by the authorities.
