American’s Half-million Bequest Accepted

Despite the refusal of the anti-Semitic Endek (National Democrats) majority in the Municipal Council of Bromberg, in Polish Pomerania, the government today officially accepted the half-million dollar bequest of an American citizen, Mrs. Lena Cohen, for the poor Jews of her birthplace.
