High Commissioner Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope left for London today on his annual vacation. It is understood the High Commissioner will report personally to the Colonial Office about the situation in Palestine. He is expected to take up the matter of the proposed Legislative Council for Palestine, after which it is believed a decision on the Council will be arrived at.
During the High Commissioner’s absence, Chief Secretary John Hatton Hall will take his place as chief administrator.
