The authorities of Mainz and Bischofsheim announced the cancelling of the leases for communal fields of persons found dealing with Jews.

In Magdeburg, Jews were barred from trolleys, while at Karschin meat dealers who wishes to serve Jews had to do so secretly at night.

After violent demonstrations outside nine houses of Jews in Schierstein, a suburb of Wiesbaden, police arrested nine Jews for their own protection.

Shops in many townships of eastern Prussia have been forced not to sell provisions to Jews, it was reported here. Jews were terrorized by storm troopers to force them to divulge the names of shopkeepers who were selling them food.

Fearing starvation, Jews in east Prussia are fleeing to Danzig and to Lithuania, but are not allowed to take their money with them.
