In addition, the Congress adopted a resolution approving the convocation of a world Jewish congress and instructing all Zionists and all Zionist groups to participate in preparation for the parley.

The resolution emphasises that the economic and political situation of the Jews in several Diaspora lands is constantly growing worse and endangering the national minority rights of the Jewish populations of these countries.

“The World Jewish Congress would be composed of representatives of all factions of the Jewish nation and created along democratic lines,” the resolution states. “Therefore, it is an urgent requirement of the work of defending Jewish political rights and their economic existence.”

The Swiss Jewish Community will give a reception to the agency members tonight in the Congress and Arts Palace where the Zionist Congress is being held.
