S. B. Finkel Named Director of Hebrew University Friends

Dr. A. W .S. Rosenbach, president of the American Friends of the Hebrew University, today made public the appointment of Samuel B. Finkel of Boston as director of the organization.

Mr. Finkel, who is also president of the National Federation of Temple Brotherhoods, will be in charge of activities in the American office of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He succeeds Herbert Askwith.

Previously he served as Maccachusetts State Senator, State Representative, principal of a Boston college prepatory school and public school teacher. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School.
