Czechoslovakian Minister Hears Complaint on Deportation of Jewish Refugees

A complaint against the deportation of Jewish refugees from Bohemia and Moravia, was today lodged with the Minister of the Interior, Josef Cerny, by the Jewish deputies Angelo Goldstein and Murie Schmolna.

In an interview with the Jewish deputies, Interior Minister Cerny promised that the injustices would be removed, particularly as regards the discrimination treatment of Jewish aliens.

The Minister of the Interior also praised the work of the Jewish Refugee Committee, Hicem and the Joint Distribution Committee, through whose combined efforts the thousands of Jewish refugees in Czechoslovakia have been reduced to but a few hundreds.
