The New Zionist Organization is organizing a sports movement independent of the world-wide Maccabi, it is disclosed by Die Neue Welt, organ of the Jewish State Party.

The new organization, to be known as “Nordia,” is a result of a resolution adopted at the recent World Maccabi convention at Bruenn, Czechoslovakia, When a resolution calling for exclusion of Revisionists from the Maccabi organization was voted down, another resolution, offered by the Gorman delegation, calling for a pledge of allegiance to a unified world Zionist organization and a unified labor federation, was adopted.

Adoption of this resolution caused the Revisionists to draw the inference that there was no room within the ranks of the Maccabi for members of the New Zionist Organization. the N.Z.O., therefore, immediately ordered withdrawal of all Revisionists.

Der Juedenstaat, official organ of the N.Z.O., made the following statement:

“This sports organization shall embrace the entire nation with-out regard to political or ideological position. It shall be neutral, non-political and purely national.”
