King, Pioneer Toronto Merchant, Dead at 68

Solomon King, pioneer clothing manufacturer and real estate promoter, died here yesterday at the age of sixty-eight. King came to Toronto from England in 1888. He was a member of the Holy Blossom Synagogue and an active supporter of the Liberal Party. King was one of the first manufacturers in the city to equip his clothing factory with modern machinery.

Surviving King are his widow and two sons.
