Commenting on the recent sale of the Adrema Engineering Company in Berlin to “Aryan” interests, Ludwig Lore in his column “Behind the Cables” in the New York Post, states the sale affords a convincing denial to the story circulated some time ago that Jacob Goldschmidt, who was chief owner of that firm, came to America as Hitler’s agent. He points out that “in accordance with most recent Nazi practice the owners of this establishment have been ‘persuaded’ to sell their holdings ‘for a comparatively moderate sum.'”
