Polish citizens condemned to sterilization by German courts can escape the operation by leaving Germany, Dr. Adamkiewicz, chief of the Legal Department of the Polish Government, today told a delegation of the Jewish Aid Committee for Refugees.
He said the concession had been obtained as a result of intervention by the Polish Government. The delegation visited the Polish Foreign Office to ask that action be taken against the application of Nazi sterilization laws and the Nuremberg race laws to Polish citizens.
Dr. Adamkiewicz said the Polish Government is collecting material in connection with the Nuremberg law application. He asked the delegation to submit to him a memorandum stating definite cases of discrimination against Polish Jews in the Reich.
