Luebeck suburb which had long born the name of Israeldorf (literally the village of Israel) today moved into step with the modern Nazi trend by renaming itself Karlshof. At the same time Luebeck dubbed one of the principal boulevards Travenmunder instead of Israeldorfer and a section of the city known as Jerusalemberg will henceforth be officially caled Kreuzberg.
