A. Sanders, president of the Ashkenazic Jewish Community of Rotterdam, died here today at the age of 81. Mr. Sanders was a leader of the local Jewish community for twenty-seven years and for seventeen years was a leader of the Ashkenazic Jewish Community of Holland, acting as vice-president of the latter body’s central committee. On the occasion of his eightieth birthday Queen Wilhelmina conferred upon him the Order of Orange Nassau.
