The Mayor of Vienna denies today that Jewish physicians are being dismissed from municipal hospitals in reply to an interpellation during a debate on the budget in the Municipal Council. He cited figures showing that large numbers of Jews are applying for positions to prove that a great number are employed.
The interpellation was made by Councillor Ehrlich, who denounced dismissal of Jewish doctors as unconstitutional.
