James G. McDonald’s “noble and humanitarian” attitude in discharging his duties as League of Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is praised in a letter dispatched to Mr. McDonald by the Joint Committee for the Assistance of German Refugees in Poland. The letter voices the committee’s regret at Mr. McDonald’s resignation.
