The famous French Research Institute “College de France” celebrated recently the 50th anniversary of the Jewish savant and mathematician, Jacques Hadamard. The Minister of Education and numerous official personalities and delegates of learned bodies participated at a reception given by the College de France.
Mr. Hadamard is active in the League to Combat Anti-Semitism and in a number of other Jewish organizations.
