The Executive Committee of the Board of the Vienna Jewish Community held a meeting here to discuss the position which had arisen as a result of the resignation from the Board of the 11 members of the Union of Austrian Jews.

All Zionist groups took part in the meeting, and it was decided to elect Dr. Jakob Ehrlich as vice-president of the board in place of Dr. Ticho, retired unionist vice-president.

The board also decided to proceed at once with preparations for new elections. It was also agreed to nominate Dr. Josef Loewenherz for the position of Acting President of the Board for one year.
