Steel-helmeted police, aided by airplanes, yesterday arrested nineteen persons and wounded two resisting arresting arrest in searching the woods near Myszlenice, West Galicia, for anti-Semites who Tuesday night raided the town and carried on depredations against Jews.

While police continued to round up the band of 150, mainly Krakow students, the district governor and police authorities arrived in the town to investigate the excesses.

Krakow police were believed to have arrested Adam Doboszynski, wealthy landowner and president of the Krakow District anti-Semitic National Democratic Party, who was described in an official statement confirming the excesses as the person who organized and led the raid.
