Prof. Istrate Micesco, president of the Bucharest Bar Association, announced in a speech today he had resigned from the Government party to devote himself to uniting all anti-Semitic groups into a single body.

He said his sole purpose in life was now to create a bloc which could not fail to impose its will upon Rumania. He joined the anti-Jewish front of right-wing groups recently formed by Prof. Alexander Cuza and Prof. Octavius Goga.

Prof. Micesco declared that Rumania was a nation of masters, that Jews were servants and should be used as such. Until a year ago he was considered a friend of the Jews. Dr. Micesco is rated the highest-paid lawyer in Rumania and as an orator is considered second only to Foreign Minister Nicolae Titulescu.
