Large crowds attended the funeral today of Dr. David Feuchtwang, chief rabbi of Vienna, who died Sunday of angina pectoris at the age of 71. He was buried next to Zvi Perez Chajes, whom he had succeeded as chief rabbi in 1933.
Chief Rabbi Israel Taglicht recited the eulogies. An oration was delivered by State Councillor Desider Friedmann. Representatives of the Government, the Fatherland Front and the fraternal order B’nai B’rith attended the services.
