Sir Oswald Mosley’s British Union of Fascists today entered an election contest for the first time. He announced that the Fascists would make a bid for the East London seats in the London County Council election next March.

His announcement said:

“East London will be asked to choose between us and the parties of Jewry. The people will be asked, by their vote, to give the parties of Jewry notice to quit.”
