The Jewish question can be solved only as part of a general solution of world economic and social problems, B. Charney Vladeck, general manager of the Jewish Daily Forward in New York told the plenary session of ORT, organization for rehabilitation of Jews in Europe. Mr. Vladeck is president of the American ORT Federation.

The aim of the society, said Mr. Vladeck, is to supply leadership and organization to the Jewish people in their struggle for economic reconstruction.

Speaking before the session, Colonial Minister Marius Moutet declared:

“I am an old friend of the ORT. I am fighting barbarism of nature. You fight barbarism of men.”

A report on ORT’s activities since the last session was given by Dr. Leo Bramson.
